An ultra-rare monograph on the elusive and radical artist David Hammons.
Richly produced, the book includes exquisite colour renderings of Hammon’s most known and lesser-known works from the 1960s–present, including those from prestigious private collections.
This edition is encased in an orange card slip embossed with a basketball texture which references Hammons’s iconic basketball drawings and later basketball hoop chandelier works.
Published to coincide with Mnuchin Gallery’s celebrated 2016 retrospective of the artist, the book includes essay contributions from Robert Storr. Alanna Heiss and Kellie Jones.
