The Artist Room is a contemporary art gallery in London
The Artist Room was founded by Milo Astaire in London in 2021. The gallery specialises in artworks and objects from twentieth-century and contemporary art, often exhibiting contemporary and historical works in dialogue within the context of a curated exhibition.
In 2023, the gallery moved into new premises in a converted townhouse at 20 Great Chapel Street in Soho. The building is also home to Plaster, a contemporary art magazine seeing a major relaunch in Autumn 2023.
Recent exhibitions include Leonardo Devito, Kristy M Chan, Poppy Jones, Jatinder Singh Durhailay, Pourea Alimirzaee, Larry Stanton, Ina Gerken and William Brickel. Artists included in group exhibitions include Roni Horn, Louise Lawler, Peter Doig, Jimmy DeSana, Patrizio di Massimo, Wolfgang Tillmans, Martin Kippenberger, Kang Seung Lee, and Kaari Upson.
